Description
This glorious one-off evening bag has been designed and made by PRF Creatives. It comes with stunning gota satin lining and a co-ordinated handmade flower detail. The flower, made with gota satin also has one of our handcrafted artisan buttons at it's centre.
The bag is made from fabulous textured linen effect Linton Tweed which has a shimmering gold thread running through it. Linton Tweeds, based in Carlisle, make short runs of high quality fabrics that are used in the haute couture industry. Their fabrics can be found on clothes made by Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent and Louis Vitton, to name a few. We have been lucky to get some off cuts of fabric to make a small collection of one-off bags and purses.
The bag is lined in a sumptuous marbled gota satin from India. There is a side pocket with a co-ordinated tweed strip at the opening. The gold coloured bag clasp comes with an detachable chain so that it can be worn either on the shoulder or carried as a clutch bag. The bag has been hand stitched onto the clasp.
The bag is 18cm (7 inches) wide and 13cm (5 inches) in height - a great size for evenings out. The Tweed is made from mix of fibres including sustainable cotton.
